”Oxygen Mask” (new acoustic recording)

Gaz Coombes has released a brand new acoustic recording of Oxygen Mask (28th September 2018).
This new stripped back arrangement came together following a series of shows in the UK, Europe, Australia and North America where Gaz eschewed his regular live band to play solo surrounded by an arsenal of instruments and effects. The result is an intimate and mesmerizing take on one of the highlights of his hugely acclaimed third album World’s Strongest Man. A hypnotic video for the album version of Oxygen Mask has been created by band mate Garo Nahoulakian.
Gaz Coombes plays a previously announced UK tour in October before playing a series of shows in Europe in November / December. The UK dates are:
Oct 18th Concorde 2, Brighton (full band - sold out)
Oct 19th Tramshed, Cardiff (full band, part of SWN Festival)
Oct 20th O2 Academy, Oxford (full band, part of Ritual Union Festival)
Oct 22nd The Welly Club, Hull (full band)
Oct 23rd The Liquid Room, Edinburgh (full band)
Oct 24th Riverside, Newcastle (full band)
Oct 26th O2 Academy, Manchester (full band)
Oct 27th Foundry, Sheffield (full band)
Oct 28th Rescue Rooms, Nottingham (full band – sold out)
World’s Strongest Man was nominated as one of the albums of the year so far by BBC6 Music in July. Gaz recently played with full band on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
