‘The Oaks’ – exclusive Record Store Day release
Available only in independent record stores only on April 21st 2018
Gaz Coombes has announced details of an exclusive Record Store Day release.
Taken from his forthcoming album World’s Strongest Man, The Oaks is a meditative piece of beautifully warped pop music. The original track comes backed with a remix by electronic legends Leftfield. The Oaks is released on Hot Fruit/Caroline International on Record Store Day 2018, which takes place across the world on April 21st.
Gaz says of the release: “I’m very excited to release a special vinyl 12” of The Oaks for Record Store Day, especially because it’s got a stomping remix on it by the wonderful Leftfield.”
Leftfield’s Neil Barnes says: “Absolute pleasure to be back remixing again on such a great track. Gaz allowed me to present a super-charged acid house adventure…”
