SET TO RELEASE DEBUT UK SINGLE ‘PDR’ ON 6th OCTOBER 2017
Brooklyn NY’s newest & sparkiest power-pop duo The Bergamot will release their debut UK single, 'PDR', on 6th October 2017 (on Both Records).
Boasting unbreakable harmonies, classic pop songwriting, soaring guitars and stories that talk about the joys & heartaches of life, The Bergamot (aka husband & wife duo Nathaniel Paul & Jillian Speece) had a major breakthrough when this debut track was picked up by and mixed by renowned producer & engineer Matt Wiggins (Glass Animals, Lana Del Rey, Adele).
Nathaniel and Jillian met in high school in their hometown of South Bend, Indiana and went on to form the band in college at Indiana University Purdue: University Fort Wayne (IPFW). Moving to Brooklyn NY, they soon started to draw upon influences such as Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Feist and Ryan Adams, Jillian’s velvety alto voice blending seamlessly with Nathaniel’s dreamy vocals to create their harmonic signature sound.
Finessing their acclaimed live show via relentless criss-crossing tours across the States, The Bergamot have played as special guests of acts as diverse as All American Rejects, Young The Giant and Wiz Khalifa. They will play their first ever UK live shows in the very near future.
THE BERGAMOT are;
NATHANIEL PAUL - VOCALS, KEYBOARDS & GUITAR
JILLIAN SPEECE - VOCALS & PERCUSSION
NOAH WEBBER - DRUMS
